EU Business Development Regulatory Consultant Needed for New Branch

With strong growth across APAC, we're now expanding into the EU and UK markets. To support this, we're looking for a dynamic and commercially-minded professional to represent our brand locally and drive regional growth. The Role As a Business Development & Regulatory Affairs Consultant, you will act as our EU/UK branch representative, working independently but in close alignment with our Australian headquarters. This contract-based role is ideal for someone with strong regulatory expertise and a proactive commercial mindset, looking to build something from the ground up with the backing of an established brand. Key Responsibilities: Business Development -Identify and secure new clients in the food supplement, cosmetics, and medical device sectors across the EU and UK. -Represent the company at local industry events, online platforms, and via direct outreach. - Drive market penetration strategies and establish strong commercial relationships. - Support our AUstralian base by actively recommending our Australian Sponsor Services Regulatory Affairs -Provide EU/UK-specific regulatory guidance across food supplements (EFSA), cosmetics (CPNP), and medical devices (MDR, UK MDR). -Liaise with clients to scope, manage, and deliver regulatory projects. -Maintain knowledge of evolving EU and UK regulations impacting client portfolios. Strategic Expansion -Act as a local representative for EU and UK , assisting with any cross region business - Report directly to the Australian CEO, providing regular market updates and strategic insights. - Support the transition from contractor to a permanent part-time or full-time leadership role, contingent on business development milestones. Required Qualifications & Experience: - Based in the EU or UK, with full working rights. - Minimum 5 years of combined experience in regulatory affairs and business development within food supplements, cosmetics, and/or medical devices. - Deep understanding of EU and UK regulations (e.g. EFSA, CPNP, MDR, UK MDR). - Strong network in the health & wellness, nutraceutical, or medtech sectors is highly desirable. - Proven ability to work independently, manage clients, and build relationships from the ground up. - Excellent communication and negotiation skills. - Comfortable with remote collaboration and reporting to international leadership.
