Ubisoft is looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Entry-Level Game Tester / Community Moderator to join our remote team. This is a unique opportunity to get paid to play and help shape the future of our titles, while also fostering a welcoming space for our global player community. This role is 100% remote, allowing you to work from anywhere in Canada. Key Responsibilities • Play assigned game builds across various platforms to identify, record, and report bugs, glitches, and usability issues. • Provide clear, concise, and comprehensive written feedback and bug reports, including steps to reproduce, expected results, and actual results. • Actively participate in online forums, social media channels, and community platforms, engaging with players and representing the Ubisoft brand. • Monitor user-generated content and discussions to ensure adherence to community guidelines and terms of service. • Address player inquiries, provide support, and escalate critical issues to appropriate internal teams (e.g., development, customer support). • Gather and synthesize player feedback to provide insights to development and marketing teams. • Contribute to the continuous improvement of game quality and community engagement strategies. Required Skills • Profound passion for video games across multiple genres and platforms. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify subtle issues. • Basic understanding of online community dynamics and moderation principles. • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment. • Proficiency with common PC software (e.g., bolthires Office Suite, web browsers). • A positive attitude, empathy, and strong interpersonal skills. Preferred Qualifications • Experience playing games on various platforms (PC, console, mobile). • Familiarity with bug tracking software or project management tools. • Previous experience participating in or moderating online forums or social media groups. • Basic knowledge of video game development cycles or quality assurance processes. • Fluency in French is an asset, but not required.
