Job Overview The Data Entry Support worker will be responsible for performing clerical and data entry tasks, ensuring accurate record-keeping and data organization. Primary Responsibilities Manage multiple databases to ensure accurate record-keeping and data organization, utilizing your attention to detail and organizational skills. Enter required grant data accurately into our systems, meeting monthly, quarterly, and year-end deadlines, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. Maintain appropriate records and follow required procedures and practices for attendance and assessment data, adhering to strict confidentiality and security protocols. Maintain the required security of student data in compliance with FERPA, demonstrating your commitment to protecting sensitive information. Complete regular error checks and data clean-up to ensure accurate reporting, and identify areas for process improvement. Ensure data is accessible in a timely manner to staff and other stakeholders, providing exceptional support and service. Organize and prioritize tasks to meet all local, state, and program deadlines, utilizing your excellent time management and organizational skills. Monitor and evaluate student outcomes, including pre/post testing with state-mandated assessments, and provide data-driven insights to inform our programs and services. Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities, demonstrating your commitment to ongoing learning and growth. Perform administrative tasks, such as scanning documents, labeling items, inventorying supplies, and preparing mailings, as required. Utilize basic word processing skills to create and edit documents, and organize digital files and materials, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will require: A High School diploma or GED, demonstrating your commitment to education and personal development. Knowledge of standard office practices and procedures, including MS Office Software, and the ability to learn new systems and technologies. Excellent Excel skills, with the ability to manage and analyze data, and identify trends and insights. The ability to perform office work quickly and efficiently while maintaining accuracy, plan, organize, and prioritize work effectively, and communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders. The ability to work cooperatively with others, and maintain a positive and professional attitude in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Physical Requirements The physical requirements for this position include: Regularly talking, expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word, and conveying detailed or important spoken instructions to other workers accurately, loudly, or quickly. Normal cognitive abilities, including the ability to learn, recall, and apply certain practices and policies. Frequently sitting and/or remaining in a stationary position for long periods of time, with occasional exertion of up to 25 pounds of force to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
