As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for translating business requirements into functional requirements, performing gap analysis, and coordinating the prioritization of new functionality requirements. Key Responsibilities Translate business requirements into functional requirements for technical analysts and developers, ensuring seamless communication and effective solution delivery. Perform gap analysis for new functionality requirements, coordinating their prioritization based on actual business needs and aligning them with the product release roadmap. Collaborate with technical teams to detect bugs in the system, interact with developers for debugging, and ensure high-quality solutions that meet client expectations. Involve in the analysis of test plans and test cases, working closely with technical teams to identify and resolve issues promptly. Keep track of user stories and PBI during the sprint, and sprint and product backlogs, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within scope. Requirements and Qualifications To succeed in this role, you will need a strong foundation in business analysis, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. The following qualifications are essential: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, Business, Management, or a relevant field. Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) in Agile and Waterfall methodologies. Ability to elicit requirements from meetings, workshops, interviews, and JAD sessions, with excellent active listening and communication skills. Good understanding of creating project deliverables such as user stories, use cases, wireframes, functional requirements, and non-functional requirements. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications will be considered an asset: Experience working in an Agile environment, with knowledge of Scrum or Kanban methodologies. Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Asana, or Trello. Knowledge of data analysis and visualization tools, with the ability to interpret and communicate complex data insights. Certification in business analysis, such as CBAP or CCBA, or a related field.
