As a Behavior Technician with our team, you'll play a vital role in implementing ABA therapy programs, working closely with our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and families to drive meaningful outcomes. Key Responsibilities Provide one-on-one (1:1) in-home ABA therapy to children with ASD, implementing treatment plans and behavior support strategies developed by our BCBA supervisors. Collect and record behavior and skill acquisition data during sessions, using this information to inform treatment decisions and drive progress. Conduct discrete trials, implement behavior support plans, and engage in other activities that promote the social, emotional, and cognitive development of our clients. Collaborate with BCBA supervisors to refine treatment plans, address client needs, and stay up-to-date on best practices in ABA therapy. Foster strong relationships with clients, their families, and our care team, ensuring seamless communication and coordinated care. Maintain a high level of professionalism, adhering to our values and standards for service delivery, confidentiality, and client respect. Arrive on time, prepared for therapy sessions, and demonstrate flexibility in your schedule to accommodate the needs of our clients. Essential and Preferred Qualifications To succeed as a Behavior Technician with Key Autism Services, you'll need: A Bachelor's degree or be working towards a degree in a related field (e.g., Psychology, Education, Sociology). At least 1 year of experience working with children in a 1:1 setting, or equivalent experience as a Special Education Assistant, Paraprofessional, Direct Support Professional, Medical Assistant, Autism Experience, Teacher's Assistant, or ABA Tutor. Previous ABA experience is preferred, but not required – we'll provide comprehensive training to support your growth and success. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, families, and our care team. A reliable vehicle and personal means of transportation, as you'll be required to travel to client homes. The physical ability to lift up to 35lbs, bend, kneel, squat, and engage in other activities that require fine and gross motor skills.
