Education and Communications Specialist

Remote Full-time
The Education and Communications Specialist handles diverse tasks and projects. The position is permanent, part-time, 25 hours a week, and is hybrid with most tasks performed remotely. Some of these hours periodically take place on a weekend. The person has strengths in the following areas: a. Verbal and written communication b. Organization c. Critical thinking and problem solving d. Use of the computer, Microsoft tools, Constant Contact, Outlook, and other technology e. Social media administration f. Multitasking g. General Administrative skills h. Project management i. Work ethics j. Time management k. Ability to learn l. Strategizing for successful outcomes The position responsibilities involve the administration of the education programs both in-person and online; membership administration and development; data entry; record keeping; development of standard operating procedures; collaboration on creation of and distribution of communications; marketing; public relations; staff liaison to committees. Skills in website administration, Adobe, Outlook, and Microsoft are desired. He/she must have a valid driver’s license and car. The candidate will have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree and have an interest in a non-profit, trade organization with a compelling mission. Apply tot his job
