E-Book designer for Health and Wellness Coach
Hello, my name is Mark Turnipseed. I’m the co-founder of the skincare line Halo42, the author of the Amazon bestselling memoir My Suicide Race, and a health and life coach, yoga teacher, and podcast host. I’m looking to create a short, visually refined e-book that will serve as a lead magnet and funnel into the live events I host for Halo42, as well as the courses and workshops I teach through a Halo42-adjacent program called Healthier Happy Humans. This e-book should feel clean, calm, and minimalist, with beautiful imagery and thoughtful typography. It is not salesy or hype-driven. The tone is grounded, embodied, and editorial — designed to introduce ideas that will be explored more deeply on the Healthier Happy Humans podcast and in the full course curriculum available to members of the community. Project Scope Design a short, readable e-book (approximately 8–12 pages) Establish a clean, cohesive visual style (layout, typography, spacing) Incorporate subtle graphic elements or imagery where appropriate Light copy editing may be needed; I will supply most of the copy and am open to thoughtful suggestions based on your professional judgment The final design should be suitable for mobile and desktop viewing, as well as printable Design Style Minimalist, modern, and calming Editorial / wellness / lifestyle aesthetic Generous white space Refined typography Not salesy, not overly trendy, not “influencer” styled Timeline Project must be completed by the last week of January Quick turnaround is important, and the ability to work efficiently is essential Deliverables Final PDF file ready for upload to websites File optimized for mobile, desktop, and print use Source file (Canva preferred; other tools open to discussion) Up to 2 rounds of revisions To Apply Please include: A sample of similar work you’ve done (e-books, guides, editorial layouts, wellness materials, etc.) A brief note on your design approach for calm or editorial wellness content Confirmation that you can meet the January timeline Apply tot his job
