DOW - Cloud Engineer/Administrator

cFocus Software seeks a Cloud Engineer/Administrator to join our program supporting the Department of Defense (DoD). This position is remote. This position requires the ability a Public Trust clearance. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). • 5+ years of experience supporting cloud or enterprise infrastructure environments. • Hands-on experience administering cloud platforms (AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, or equivalent). • Experience with cloud networking, security groups, load balancing, and storage services. • Experience supporting Linux and/or Windows server environments. • Familiarity with RMF, NIST SP 800-53, STIGs, and DoD cybersecurity compliance. • Experience working in Agile and DevSecOps environments. • Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills. • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD CAC and required background investigation Duties: • Administer and maintain cloud and hybrid infrastructure environments supporting DSAID. • Provision, configure, and manage compute, storage, networking, and platform services. • Monitor system health, availability, performance, and capacity; respond to alerts and incidents. • Support system patching, upgrades, and configuration changes in accordance with change management processes. • Implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures to ensure continuity of operations. • Support RMF and ATO activities by implementing and maintaining security controls. • Ensure compliance with DoD cloud security requirements, STIGs, and cybersecurity policies. • Support vulnerability remediation, continuous monitoring, and audit activities. • Collaborate with Cloud Architects, Cybersecurity Engineers, and DevSecOps teams. • Support CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) initiatives. • Troubleshoot infrastructure and platform issues; perform root cause analysis. • Develop and maintain cloud operational documentation, runbooks, and diagrams. • Support system modernization, cloud migration, and optimization initiatives. • Participate in Agile planning, technical reviews, and operational readiness activities. • Provide on-call or after-hours support during releases or system incidents Apply tot his job
