About the Role: Driving Operational Excellence The Director, Business Operations will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our client's business by leveraging their diverse skill set and experience in managing program support operations for federal contractors. This position will be the linchpin in ensuring the smooth operation of various business functions, fostering strong relationships with key vendors, and developing and implementing processes that enhance overall efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Leading Business Operations with Precision Managing Vendor Relationships: Oversee and nurture relationships with critical vendors for outsourced business functions, including IT, finance, and contracts, to ensure seamless operations. Program Support: Develop, evaluate, and enhance internal business processes to support different programs, ensuring they are well-equipped to meet client needs. Reporting and Financial Management: Provide program delivery teams with templates for monthly client reporting and establish structured financial projecting templates for effective financial management. Contract Management: Serve as the primary company interface with contracting specialists and officers, collecting, organizing, and managing key contractual information for each program. Process Improvement: Develop and implement tools and processes to support program teams, enhancing their ability to deliver high-quality services. Recruitment and Staffing: Identify and recruit necessary personnel for programs, ensuring they are adequately staffed to meet objectives. Major Contract Vehicles: Support major contract vehicles through quarterly tracking and reporting, managing and implementing overall modifications to ensure compliance and efficiency. Essential and Preferred Qualifications: The Ideal Candidate Profile To excel in this role, candidates should possess: A minimum of 5 years of experience in managing program support operations for a federal contractor, with a deep understanding of federal contracting operations. A comprehensive knowledge of business operations, with the ability to analyze and improve processes. Proficiency in leveraging technology, specifically SharePoint and MS Power Apps, to enhance business operations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders. A strong analytical mindset, with the ability to develop and implement financial projecting templates and manage contractual information effectively. Preferred candidates will also have: Experience in managing contracts and working closely with contracting specialists and officers. A background in training and language services or a related field. A proven track record of driving process improvements and implementing new tools and technologies.
