DHHS Fiscal Project Analyst

They are seeking a DHHS Fiscal Project Analyst to review financial data, prepare budgets, and monitor expenditures, playing a vital role in supporting decision-making processes. Responsibilities Perform complex analytical work involving collecting and evaluating DHHS financial data, budget reports, and other information concerning DHHS expenditures and revenues Assist in budget preparation and analysis Monitor expenditures against the budget Analyze operational and financial metrics Respond to requests for information Work with large datasets to extract the required information Function as a part of a finance team to provide information, projections, advice, and solutions to DHHS program management Skills Post high school education in any of the following areas: accounting, finance, public or business administration, economics, statistics, mathematics, computer science, or related areas Experience in any of the areas above including responsibility for any of the following functions: fiscal or accounting systems analysis; budget analysis or preparation; cost/benefit accounting and/or analysis; design and/or development of accounting control and reporting systems; financial auditing; fiscal records, management; or related areas A bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, economics, or public administration, or an equivalent combination of education and experience in technical budget analysis or fiscal management work Experience can be substituted for education on a year-for-year basis Benefits We offer a comprehensive package of pay, benefits, paid time off, retirement and professional development opportunities to help you get the most out of your career and life.
