Overview We are seeking our new DevOps Engineer to join the 74Software team! At 74SW, we empower over 12,000 organizations across more than 100 countries to digitally transform and thrive. Our R&D Operations team is the backbone of this transformation—building, maintaining, and optimizing the tools and infrastructure that support 4700+ users globally. From commercial platforms like Jira and Artifactory to open-source tools like Jenkins and GitLab, we ensure seamless, secure, and scalable operations. Your Mission As a Mid-Level DevOps Engineer, you’ll bridge development and operations by automating infrastructure, optimizing CI/CD pipelines, and supporting critical internal tools. You’ll work alongside a diverse team of developers, DevOps, and data scientists to deliver reliable services and drive continuous improvement. Responsibilities Infrastructure & Automation Design and manage cloud and on-prem infrastructure (AWS, VMware ESXi, VMware Aria Automation) Automate provisioning and configuration using Terraform and Ansible Monitor system performance and implement alerting (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Nagios) CI/CD & Tooling Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins) Administer and optimize tools like Jira, Confluence, GitLab, Artifactory Manage artifact repositories and deployment strategies Scripting & Ops Write automation scripts in Python and Bash Implement and improve automated testing Collaboration & Support Partner with developers, security, and IT teams Document infrastructure and operational procedures Contribute to team knowledge sharing Qualifications Core Experience 3–5 years in DevOps, SRE, or similar roles Strong Linux administration Hands-on with AWS and on-prem systems Experience with Atlassian stack (Jira and Confluence) Experience with Git, CI/CD tools, Infrastructure as Code, and Configuration management Technical Skills Scripting: Python, Bash IaC: Terraform, Ansible Monitoring: Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Nagios Databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redshift Networking: sufficient knowledge in TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, load balancers Bonus Points Experience with microservices and REST APIs Familiarity with security tools SSL certificate management Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes Agile methodologies Company Overview At Axway , we’re more than a company—we’re a pioneer.
