Development Associate
California Museum is dedicated to educating people about California’s rich history and diversity. The Development Associate will support the Development Director in implementing the Museum’s membership program and other development functions to advance the Museum’s mission. Responsibilities Support the Development Director in creating and implementing a comprehensive development/membership plan that diversifies revenue sources, increases funds raised, and elevates funder/member engagement to advance the Museum’s mission Assist with the development and implementation of grant proposals, fundraising events, and annual giving campaigns Maintain donor databases (CRMs), track activities, and support donor recognition/stewardship. Create donor invoices, acknowledgement letters, and other communications Assist with donor research and prospect pipeline development Manage day-to-day aspects of membership program including processing memberships, issuing renewal reminders, and producing acknowledgments.
