About Us Westminster Theological Seminary is an institution committed to equipping students with a deep understanding of biblical theology and preparing them for a lifetime of ministry. Key Responsibilities Pastoral Care of Students Proactively initiate and maintain ongoing conversations with each online student, ensuring a record of interactions and follow-ups. Respond to students flagged by faculty and staff as needing pastoral contact, providing timely and compassionate support. Student Engagement Design and implement creative avenues for student interactions, promoting spiritual growth and community building. Oversee the Core Advisory Team, a student volunteer group, in their peer-to-peer ministry and engagement efforts. Collaborate with the Student Success team to develop effective retention strategies. Supporting the Seminary's Mission Represent the seminary at conferences and other sponsored gatherings, promoting our mission and values. Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor, contributing to the overall success of our online programs. Essential Qualifications and Attributes To excel in this role, you'll need: A Master's degree (post-graduate studies preferred) and ordination in a NAPARC denomination. Demonstrated ministerial experience and a strong familiarity with Westminster's mission, theology, and instruction. A passion for serving others, building relationships, and collaborating with teams. Eagerness to learn, flexibility to try new approaches, and a commitment to embodying the fruits of the Spirit in your work.
