Data Engineer

CGI Federal is seeking a Data Engineer to design, build, and manage data pipelines and systems. The role involves helping clients leverage large datasets to gain insights and improve decision-making. Responsibilities Design and implement data pipelines to support business analytics Work with data architects to define and maintain data models Optimize and tune data workflows for performance and scalability Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the data lifecycle Collaborate with stakeholders to define data requirements and solutions Skills Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field 0–4 years of experience in data engineering or data management 1-2 years experience with PowerBI surrounding capacities, deployment pipelines, and direct query vs dataflows Proficiency in SQL and experience with data modeling Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.) for data engineering.
