Data & Analytics Consultant, Microsoft Fabric

Job Description: • Lead client engagements by facilitating discovery workshops, gathering requirements, and translating business objectives into technical solutions using Microsoft Fabric • Architect and implement end-to-end data pipelines, lakehouses, and semantic models within the Fabric ecosystem, ensuring scalability, performance, and security • Advise clients on data governance, quality, and best practices, guiding them through adoption and optimization of Fabric capabilities • Present solution options and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, building consensus and influencing decision-making • Mentor and enable client teams through training, documentation, and knowledge transfer, ensuring long-term client self-sufficiency • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (architecture, security, analytics, business stakeholders) to deliver integrated, high-impact solutions • Drive continuous improvement by proactively identifying opportunities for value creation and innovation within client environments Requirements: • Proven experience architecting and delivering data solutions using Microsoft Fabric, including OneLake, Lakehouse, and Direct Lake architectures • Deep understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data warehousing concepts • Proficiency in SQL, DAX, Power Query (M), and building data pipelines • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI and its integration with Fabric • Strong grasp of data governance, security, and compliance best practices • Demonstrated ability to lead technical discussions and solution design sessions with client stakeholders • Consultative mindset: Ability to uncover business challenges, identify opportunities for value creation, and guide clients through data strategy and solution adoption • Experience in a consulting or professional services environment (preferred) • Experience with Databricks for advanced data processing and machine learning workflows (preferred) • Knowledge of orchestration tools and data pipelines (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Synapse Pipelines) (preferred) • Familiarity with Microsoft Purview and/or data governance frameworks (preferred) • Understanding of CI/CD practices in data engineering (preferred) • Azure certifications related to data engineering or analytics (preferred) • Must not require visa sponsorship (posting states unable to offer visa sponsorships) Benefits: • Culture of continual learning and innovation • Tools and resources to support employees • Diversified delivery model including nearshore and offshore capabilities Apply tot his job
