We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our team on a remote basis, focusing on supply chain optimization and business intelligence. As a Data Analyst - Supply Chain Optimization and Business Intelligence, you will play a crucial role in driving business success by analyzing complex data sets, identifying trends, and developing insights that inform strategic decisions. Job Summary This is a 13-month contract role (with potential extensions) that requires 40 hours of work per week, with a schedule of 4 days a week, 10 hours per day. As a remote employee, you will have the flexibility to work from anywhere in the US. You will be a W-2 employee of Stage 4 Solutions, with access to comprehensive health benefits and a 401K plan. Key Responsibilities Data Analysis and Modeling: Develop, inspect, mine, transform, and model data to raise productivity, improve decision-making, and gain a competitive advantage in an engineering setting. Process Documentation: Document processes and procedures to construct data model attributes and attributes, and create narrative documents instructing various user groups on performing operations to reconstruct data model attributes. Statistical Analysis: Conduct statistical analysis of data and information to ensure correct predictive forecasting or classification. End-to-End Data Processing: Manage all aspects of end-to-end data processing utilizing customized report-building functions of systems, maintain analytical systems, verify data accuracy, and act as a liaison with business stakeholders. Collaboration and Communication: Work with technical developers and data scientists to define business outcomes and govern capabilities, and communicate with suppliers and internal customers to ensure successful onboarding and system deployment. Supplier Onboarding and Support: Execute and coordinate the onboarding of suppliers into the Supplier Network Collaboration (SNC) and Transportation Management System (TMS), and provide daily troubleshooting and assistance. Reporting and Monitoring: Assist with status reports for leadership reviews, develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress, and provide intervention and problem-solving support as needed. Data-Driven Insights: Provide data-driven insights to inform strategic decisions, identify areas for process improvement, and optimize supply chain operations. Requirements and Qualifications Experience: 5+ years of experience manipulating large data sets, with a focus on supply chain optimization and business intelligence. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python/Pandas, SQL, and data analysis tools, with experience in data modeling, statistical analysis, and data visualization. Education: Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Operations Research, or Business Administration. Soft Skills: Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote environment. Preferred Qualifications Industry Experience: Experience working in the global security and aerospace industry, with knowledge of industry-specific challenges and trends. Data Science Tools: Familiarity with data science tools, such as data visualization software, machine learning algorithms, and predictive analytics. Supply Chain Expertise: Knowledge of supply chain principles, practices, and technologies, with experience in supply chain optimization and business intelligence.
