Data Analyst Needed for Insightful Reporting
We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst to join our retail team and help turn sales, inventory, and customer data into meaningful insights. The ideal candidate has a strong analytical background, experience in retail or e-commerce, and a passion for using data to drive smarter business decisions. Key Responsibilities - Analyze daily, weekly, and monthly sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. - Monitor inventory performance, including stock levels, SKU movement, shrinkage, and replenishment accuracy. - Build and maintain dashboards and reports in tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, Tableau, Power BI, or similar. - Provide insights into customer behavior, product performance, traffic patterns, and promotional effectiveness. - Collaborate with store management and operations teams to support pricing strategies, forecasting, and product assortment planning. - Develop predictive models to improve demand forecasting, reduce out-of-stock risk, and optimize inventory. - Support data hygiene by cleaning and validating datasets from POS, ERP, e-commerce platforms, and other sources. - Present findings to leadership in clear, actionable ways, both visually and verbally. - Assist with ad hoc analyses to support marketing, merchandising, and purchasing decisions.
