This Cybersecurity Systems Engineering position supports multiple programs within the Integrated Warfare Systems & Sensors (IWSS) Line of Business (LOB). You will play a key role in evaluating, securing, and certifying critical infrastructure that supports national defense missions. Responsibilities • Evaluating Linux and Windows computing platforms, network designs, and devices for cybersecurity vulnerabilities. • Performing vulnerability management and risk analysis. • Conducting security assessments on identified vulnerabilities and collaborating with engineering teams to prioritize remediation. • Managing classified documentation transfers to customers for risk collaboration and review. • Supporting onboarding efforts by creating and refining team documentation and workflow processes. • Participating in site visits to support installations, testing, and meetings across the continental U.S. • Conducting testing at Lockheed Martin sites and the Combat System Engineering Development Site (CSEDS). Requirements • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in related discipline with professional engineering experience with 2+ years of related professional experience or related Master's degree and no experience required. • Willingness to learn security engineering concepts as they relate to the Security+ or CISSP certification. • Familiar with generating and updating Cyber process improvement documentation; usage of metrics to pinpoint areas where increased efficiency would be beneficial • Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance (US citizenship is required). Nice-to-haves • Experience spearheading a software baseline as a Cyber team leader responsible for driving security-based tasking to completion and collaborating with both internal (i.e., program management) and external (i.e., accreditor) on the status of progress.
