Key Responsibilities: Providing Exceptional Customer Service Provide comprehensive customer service support to the Review Team, including interacting with beneficiaries and providers via the helpline, creating and formatting letters, and maintaining timeliness. Make informed decisions regarding complex appeals, demonstrating a high level of judgment and critical thinking. Communicate effectively with external customers, both verbally and in writing, to furnish and request review information. Foster collaborative relationships between Arsenault's internal and external customers, promoting a culture of transparency and trust. Participate in identifying areas for potential improvement, leveraging case reviews and process insights to drive growth and excellence. Manage the Beneficiary Helpline, utilizing the hunt group and available light functions to determine the best course of action for callers and properly enter referrals into the CMS system. Ensure timely and accurate correspondence, including proofreading for grammatical and spacing errors. Validate notices and medical records, demonstrating attention to detail and organizational acumen. Provide intake for all appeals received by Arsenault, showcasing proficiency in customer service guidelines and standards. Utilize internal quality control tools to assess individual work and team processes, driving continuous improvement. Qualifications: The Ideal Candidate Essential Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a courteous and patient demeanor. Customer-oriented with the ability to maintain composure under potentially stressful situations. Good grammar, punctuation, spelling, and written communications skills. Ability to multi-task, prioritize assignments, and work independently. General knowledge of PC-based computer systems and software packages, with the ability to learn additional software as needed. Preferred Qualifications Post-high school business courses. Medical terminology knowledge. Two to three years of clerical experience, including word processing, filing systems, and telephone customer service responsibilities. Prior work in a healthcare setting or medical terminology background. Previous data entry or other clerical experience.
