Job Summary We're seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Representative to provide exceptional support to our Review Team. As a key member of our team, you'll interact with beneficiaries and providers via our helpline, create and format letters, and maintain timeliness. This role requires excellent decision-making skills, particularly when handling complex appeals. Key Responsibilities As a Customer Service Representative at Arsenault, you'll be responsible for: Interacting with beneficiaries and providers via the helpline, providing exceptional customer service and support. Creating, formatting, and proofreading letters, as well as maintaining timeliness and accuracy. Fostering effective working relationships between Arsenault's internal and external customers. Assisting with and participating in Review Team activities, including identifying areas for potential improvement. Answering the Beneficiary Helpline, determining how to best assist callers, and properly entering referrals into the CMS system. Ensuring all letters sent out are timely, accurate, and reviewed for grammatical and spacing errors. Validating notices and medical records, and providing intake for all appeals received by Arsenault. Utilizing internal quality control tools to assess individual work and team processes. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: A high school diploma or equivalent. Post-high school business courses, medical terminology, or related experience. Excellent verbal communication skills, with a courteous and patient demeanor. Good grammar, punctuation, spelling, hyphenation, and written communications skills. Customer-focused, results-oriented, and capable of building and maintaining relationships with internal and external customers. General knowledge of a PC-based computer system, with the ability to learn additional software packages as needed. The ability to multi-task, prioritize assignments, and work independently. Preferred Qualifications We prefer candidates with: Two to three years of clerical experience, including word processing, various filing systems, and telephone customer service responsibilities. Prior work in a healthcare setting or medical terminology experience. Previous data entry or other clerical experience.
