As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will be at the forefront of these programs, working closely with clients to address their concerns and provide guidance on eligibility guidelines and policies. Key Responsibilities Provide informed and objective responses to complex concerns from callers regarding eligibility guidelines and policies, access to care issues, and escalated concerns. Respond effectively to all forms of inbound and outbound contacts, ensuring timely and accurate communication with clients. Process workflow documents, including income, identity, and other eligibility verification documents, to determine client eligibility for Medicaid, SNAP, and TANF programs. Stay up-to-date with new knowledge of policy and procedures concerning state programs and integrate it with resource materials to answer client concerns. Maintain a high level of professionalism and empathy when interacting with clients, providing a positive and supportive experience. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you will need: A high school diploma or GED, combined with 1+ year of relevant professional experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients from diverse backgrounds. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex information and make informed decisions. Proficiency in processing workflow documents and verifying client eligibility. A commitment to providing exceptional customer service and ensuring client satisfaction. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Previous experience working with Medicaid, SNAP, or TANF programs, or similar social services. Knowledge of eligibility guidelines and policies related to these programs. Experience working in a remote or call center environment. Familiarity with customer service software and technology.
