Over the years, we've expanded our services to include Cohort Repayment Management, Employer Student Loan Benefits, Default Prevention & Recovery, Student Enrollment Management, and Alumni Placement Verification Services. Key Responsibilities As a Customer Service Representative at IonTuition, you'll be the primary point of contact for our customers, providing top-notch service and support via phone, email, chat, and text. Your key responsibilities will include: Making outbound and inbound customer calls, with a focus on assisting students with their educational obligations Providing timely and professional responses to written communication, ensuring that customer inquiries are addressed promptly and effectively Utilizing our CRM system to manage technical inquiries, follow up on customer issues, and ensure resolution Updating customer records with current demographic and contact information, and accurately notating all interactions Initiating calls to Federal loan servicers to resolve repayment options for customers with Federal student loans Comprehending training material on a variety of topics and sharing new concepts and content with the team Adhering to all federal and state laws governing the industry, as well as client Statement of Work standards and company guidelines and policies Meeting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and monthly performance goals, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service Essential Qualifications and Skills To succeed in this role, you'll need: A high school diploma or equivalent At least 1 year of customer service experience, preferably in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish and maintain rapport with customers Attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment Strong internal motivation and ability to work independently as a self-starter Technical skills, including the ability to operate and navigate various technical devices and systems, as well as troubleshoot common computer issues Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Experience working in the education or financial services industry Knowledge of student loan repayment processes and procedures Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically What We Offer At IonTuition, we're committed to providing a supportive and inclusive work environment that fosters growth and development.
