As a leader in the retail industry, we're dedicated to creating a workplace where our associates can grow, learn, and thrive. **Key Responsibilities** As a Customer Service Manager at blithequark, you'll be responsible for: * Ensuring safe work processes and emergency procedures are followed, including safe lifting techniques, cleanliness of the area, evacuations, down registers, emergency codes, and theft prevention. * Handling customer and associate concerns, providing guidance, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. * Monitoring front-end associates, ensuring proper coverage, coordinating breaks, and providing assistance to outlying registers. * Providing training to associates on systems and blithequark procedures, including scanning accuracy, productivity, company programs, discounts, EAS system, and safety protocols. * Overseeing purchase, return, and exchange transactions, assisting with error corrections, and verifying processes to meet blithequark guidelines. * Ensuring all EAS systems are functioning to standard, including cashiers deactivating, greeters handling issues appropriately, and completing "Failure to Deactivate" Logs. * Preparing registers for opening and closing daily, supporting cashiers with change, maintaining front-end cash levels, and completing audits on register accuracy. * Overseeing and promoting all company sponsor programs and initiatives, including credit card services, Walmart protection plans, charity initiatives, and discount programs. **Essential Qualifications** * Age: 16 or older * High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field (e.g., business, customer service, or retail management) is an asset. * Proven experience in customer service, retail management, or a related field, with a focus on leading high-performing teams and driving customer satisfaction. * Excellent communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. * Strong knowledge of retail operations, including cash handling, inventory management, and loss prevention. **Preferred Qualifications** * Post-secondary education in a related field (e.g., business, customer service, or retail management). * Experience with EAS systems, cash handling, and inventory management. * Knowledge of blithequark programs and initiatives, including credit card services, Walmart protection plans, charity initiatives, and discount programs. * Certification in customer service, retail management, or a related field. **Skills and Competencies** * Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams. * Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. * Strong knowledge of retail operations, including cash handling, inventory management, and loss prevention. * Ability to adapt to changing situations, prioritize tasks, and maintain a positive attitude in a dynamic environment. **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At blithequark, we're committed to helping our associates grow and develop their careers.
