About the Role: Customer Care Representative I We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Care Representative I. This role is the first point of contact for our customers and is ideal for those who are proactive, solution-oriented, and passionate about delivering exceptional customer service. As a Customer Care Representative, you will handle a variety of incoming customer calls, adhering to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities Handle customer calls in a timely and professional manner, ensuring accurate information is provided. Demonstrate an understanding of policies and procedures to respond to customer inquiries, striving to minimize the need for supervisor callbacks. Participate in voluntary and mandatory training opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge. Assist with floor training and/or shadowing opportunities as needed. Complete special assignments in a timely manner. Maintain responsible time and attendance. Participate in mandatory and voluntary overtime as required. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you should possess: Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. A high capacity for multitasking independently and on a computer. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, using appropriate grammar, tone, and pronunciation. Exceptional organizational and time-management skills. Preferred Qualifications While not mandatory, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Experience with SAP CRM and ECC systems. Previous experience working for a utility company. A thorough understanding and adherence to PUC rules/regulations, including Chapter 56 and Chapter 14, along with blithequark policies/procedures. Our compensation package for this role includes: A competitive start rate of $19.00 per hour. A trainee incentive of up to $500 after successful completion of training and an additional $500 after 3 months of independent call-taking. Ongoing incentives of up to $250 per month for achieving or exceeding scorecard metrics once fully trained.
