Copy Editor - Work from Home
The Copy Editor ensures all written materials produced by Pathlock are clear, consistent, and aligned with brand, product, and compliance standards. This role edits for tone, structure, clarity, accuracy, and brand alignment across marketing, product, sales, and customer-facing content. Key Responsibilities • Edit copy for clarity, tone, structure, and flow • Review materials for grammatical accuracy and style consistency • Refine messaging for product, marketing, sales, and customer channels • Align copy to brand voice and positioning guidelines • Collaborate with writers, designers, and product teams on revisions • Ensure technical and compliance terminology is used correctly • Support creation and maintenance of style guides and editorial standards • Provide constructive editorial feedback and suggestions for improvement • Assist with proofreading final deliverables before release • Manage multiple assignments with tight turnaround times Editing Scope May Include • Website and landing pages • Product descriptions and documentation • Sales decks and proposals • Marketing campaigns and collateral • Blogs, articles, and educational content • Emails, in-app messaging, and release notes Qualifications & Skills • Strong command of English editing and editorial standards • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to improve clarity/tone • Experience editing technical, SaaS, audit, or GRC-related content is a plus • Understanding of marketing and product communication best practices • Strong collaboration and communication skills • Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment Preferred Experience • Prior experience as a copy editor, content editor, or content specialist • Experience working with B2B SaaS, enterprise software, fintech, or cybersecurity preferred (optional depending on how Pathlock markets itself) Additional Notes • Role may be remote or hybrid depending on organizational policies Apply tot his job
