Position: Compliance Officer II – Strategic Planning & Support (Remote) Employer Industry: Financial Services Why consider this job opportunity • Salary up to $160,000 • Opportunity for career advancement and growth within the organization • Work remotely from various locations across the United States • Competitive benefits package designed to meet the needs of associates • Involvement in strategic compliance projects that enhance organizational processes • Collaborative work environment that values effective stakeholder relationships What to Expect (Job Responsibilities) • Lead the strategic development, execution, and management of Compliance projects, ensuring high-quality results • Coordinate a team of associates throughout the project lifecycle, managing expectations and resolving issues • Implement tracking methods for progress and performance, providing documentation and reports to stakeholders • Support the implementation and maintenance of the risk management framework, identifying gaps and assessing capacity • Oversee policy, standard, and procedure governance, ensuring compliance and updating documents as necessary What is Required (Qualifications) • Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience in Compliance, Legal, Audit, or Banking, or High School Diploma/GED with 10 years of relevant experience • Strong working knowledge of banking regulations applicable to large financial institutions • Proven experience with regulatory examinations and internal audits • Ability to present information effectively to team members and senior leadership • Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications) • Project Management experience in a large financial institution • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint) • Familiarity with Archer/Workiva tools and workflows • Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) • Knowledge of risk techniques, practices, and control frameworks We prioritize candidate privacy and champion equal-opportunity employment.
