Collaborating Psychiatrist Opportunity for NPs and PAs - Psychiatry/Mental Health (Remote, Multi-Sta
Are you a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) specializing in psychiatry or mental health, looking for a reliable collaborating physician to support your practice? As a board-certified psychiatrist with 7 years of experience, I am available to serve as your collaborating physician in the following states: Florida (FL), California (CA), New York (NY), New Jersey (NJ), Texas (TX), North Carolina (NC), South Carolina (SC), Pennsylvania (PA), Tennessee (TN), Alabama (AL), Arkansas (AR), Ohio (OH), Indiana (IN), Michigan (MI), and Wisconsin (WI). I also have a current DEA registration in FL, TX, NC, AL, and CA. And I am willing to obtain additional state DEAs as needed for controlled substance prescribing oversight (Schedule II–V, including commonly used psychiatric medications). In these states, NPs and PAs often require a collaborating or supervising physician for prescriptive authority, chart reviews, and compliance with state regulations (e.g., reduced or restricted practice authority for NPs in most of these states, and supervision for PAs). I can provide flexible, remote collaboration tailored to your needs, helping you maintain autonomy while meeting legal requirements. Key Responsibilities/What I Offer: Regular chart reviews and audits as required by state laws. Availability for consultations via phone, video, or email on patient care, diagnoses, and treatment plans. I am flexible with my schedule and pride myself in being available to help provide guidance quickly. Assistance with developing and signing collaborative practice agreements. Oversight for controlled substance prescribing (where applicable). Compliance support to ensure your practice aligns with boards like the California Board of Registered Nursing, North Carolina Medical Board, or equivalent in other states. Minimal time commitment from me—typically 1–2 hours/month per provider, adjustable based on your caseload. Requirements for NPs/PAs: Current licensure as an NP or PA in at least one of the listed states. Focus on psychiatry, mental health, or related fields (e.g., PMHNP certification preferred for NPs). Established or planned independent practice, telehealth setup, or clinic. Commitment to evidence-based, ethical patient care. Willingness to enter a formal collaboration agreement. This is a great opportunity if you're expanding your practice, starting independently, or need a replacement collaborator. Compensation is a monthly fee paid by you (the NP/PA), negotiable based on the level of involvement and state-specific rules. No relocation required—fully remote. If interested, apply with your CV and a brief description of your practice needs. Let's discuss how we can partner for high-quality mental health care! Equal Opportunity: Open to all qualified providers. Job Types: Part-time, Contract Pay: $500.00 - $1,500.00 per month Expected hours: 1 – 40 per week Work Location: Remote Apply tot his job
