Your New Role The Chief Risk Officer is a senior leadership role responsible for developing, implementing and overseeing the enterprise-wide risk management framework. This role ensures the organisation effectively identifies, assesses, manages and mitigates all forms of risk – strategic, operational, financial, compliance and reputational, while supporting our strategic objectives and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities Include: · Designing, implementing and continuously improving AE’s risk management framework, policies and procedures · Ensure integration of risk management practices and strong risk culture throughout the organisation · Oversee the identification, assessment and monitoring of material risks across all business units · Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations including the SIS Act, Corps Act, APRA, ASIC, AUSTRAC, and prudential standards · Provide regular reports and risk insights to the CEO, Executive Team, Board and Audit, Risk and Compliance Committee · Lead the risk team, fostering a high performing and collaborative environment · Partner with internal and external stakeholders including Finance, Audit, Legal, People and Culture, IT and Operations to ensure cohesive risk management What we’re looking for You’re a Risk leader, with enterprise-wide risk management experience with a deep understanding of regulatory frameworks – specifically as they pertain to Superannuation. Leading a high performing team, you’ll collaboratively manage strategic and operational priorities, uplift the risk management culture across the organisation and ensure our regulatory obligations are met.
