Chaplain for Disability Ministry (Pastoral Care)
About the position Jill’s House is seeking a Christ-centered Chaplain to provide spiritual leadership and pastoral care both externally to families and internally to staff, cultivating a culture rooted in the love of Jesus Christ. This role serves as a consistent pastoral presence across the organization, leading our Men's Ministry program, supporting team members in their spiritual lives, and creating opportunities for prayer, discipleship, and gospel-centered community. The Chaplain helps ensure that Jill’s House is not only a place of respite, but a ministry where faith is lived, shared, and nurtured with purpose and joy. Responsibilities • Build meaningful, Christ-centered relationships with Jill’s House families and team members • Provide pastoral care, prayer, encouragement, and spiritual support during seasons of hardship, transition, and growth • Lead men’s ministry initiatives, including Bible studies, gatherings, and retreats • Partner with churches and community organizations to support families holistically • Lead weekly staff prayer and contribute to spiritual formation across the organization • Collaborate with leadership to foster a compassionate, Christ-centered workplace culture Requirements • Must have at least 2 years of experience in ministry, pastoral care, or family support • Must have a deep, personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and a passion for sharing the gospel • Someone who is highly relational, empathetic, and trusted in sensitive and confidential situations • Someone who can communicate effectively and build relationship across diverse backgrounds • Must affirm the McLean Bible Church Vision and Values and Standards of Christian Conduct Apply tot his job
