CFO Mentor and CPA Supervisor
Camp Fire Alaska - CFO Mentor & CPA Supervisor Position Logistics: • Status: Temporary, part-time • Salary: $110/hour (not to exceed 208 hours per year) • Position Duration: 24 months (may be extended based on needs) • Work location: Remote • Department: Finance • Supervisor: Chief Executive Officer • Benefits: Not eligible Position Summary: The CFO Mentor/CPA Supervisor will serve as a strategic financial advisor and mentor to the organization’s chief financial officer, accounting manager and CEO. This role is designed to build internal financial capacity, strengthen systems, and support professional development in nonprofit financial management, as well as provide formal CPA Supervision. The CFO Mentor will work closely with the CFO and accounting staff to guide ongoing financial and accounting operations, as well as provide input into the CFO annual evaluation as part of supervision. Qualifications: • Current CPA license required. • Minimum 10 years of experience in nonprofit financial leadership. • Demonstrated success mentoring finance professionals or teams. • Strong understanding of nonprofit compliance, fund accounting, and strategic planning.
