The successful candidate will specialize in Insurance Defense and will have a proven track record in premises liability, construction, and trucking. Responsibilities As our Associate Attorney, you will be responsible for • Representing clients in all stages of litigation, including the preparation of pleadings, motions, discovery, and briefs. • Conducting legal research and drafting detailed legal memoranda, motions, and briefs. • Providing legal advice and guidance on matters related to premises liability, construction, and trucking. • Negotiating settlements on behalf of clients. • Conducting depositions, mediations, and arbitrations. • Developing case strategies based on the analysis of evidence and legal principles. • Participating in trials, presenting evidence, and making closing arguments. • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of legal developments in insurance defense law. • Collaborating with team members to ensure a consistent and effective approach to case management. Qualifications The ideal candidate for the Associate Attorney position will possess the following qualifications • Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school. • Active membership in good standing with the State Bar of California and Arizona. • A minimum of 1-5 years of experience in insurance defense litigation, with a focus on premises liability, construction, and trucking. • Exceptional negotiation, research, and communication skills. • Proven ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously and meet deadlines. • Strong analytical skills and the ability to think strategically. • Proficiency in legal research tools and software. • High ethical standards and professional integrity. • Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings, depositions, and court appearances. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
