Business Partner, Supply Chain Manager

About the position Responsibilities • Develop & implement business unit category strategies that achieve year/year savings cost savings initiatives. • Develop sourcing plans in collaboration with regional or global supply chain on NAA category strategy for synergies. • Facilitate technical reviews with suppliers. • Conduct cost and quote analysis to ensure cost benefit for the project. • Update (JDE) MRP part and supplier data requirements as applicable by business unit. • Manage applicable purchase requisitions (OH Non-inventory, OH PPAP) as applicable by business unit. • Support business unit new product introductions, operations improvements (Lean), engineering changes, and work transitions. • Facilitate and/or participate in cross-functional team meetings. • Responsible for RFI's, RFQ's, analysis, business cases, and ROI. • Update all applications including but not limited to ETQ, Teams Logs - GeN3 Core, Sch A/B, RFQ, on a daily basis. • Support applicable weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting and/or report outs. Requirements • Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or Engineering; Master's degree preferred. • 5+ years in a Supply Chain management function, procurement, or cost management. • Familiarity with or experience in lean manufacturing systems and processes, as well as ERP and drawing databases such as Windchill, is preferred. • Skills in strategic planning and thinking, combined with strong analytical and execution abilities. • Experience with Excel, Power BI, and/or other data manipulation programs. • Demonstrated ability to drive teamwork between groups and across functional teams. • Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate at all levels of management. • Demonstrated project management, change management, and negotiating capabilities is a plus. • Knowledge of elevator industry and/or field operations is highly desirable. • Ability to travel up to 10%.
