Business Development Representative 100% commission based
You will be responsible for identifying, qualifying and generating new business opportunities, working closely with Sales and Marketing teams to build the pipeline and contribute to company growth. You’ll act as the initial point of contact for prospects, doing outreach, research and qualification of leads, and dis-patching opportunities to sales closers. (See description of this role in the market: “A business development representative (BDR) creates long-term value for businesses by finding new opportunities for growth and expansion.”) Key Responsibilities • Perform outbound prospecting: cold calls, emails, social selling, networking, to generate new leads and opportunities. • Qualify and research prospects: market research, competitor research, target-company identification, understanding client pain-points • Develop and manage a set of potential customers/target accounts; maintain accurate records in CRM of outreach, status, next steps. • Schedule meetings or demos for senior sales or account executives; hand off qualified leads. • Work with Marketing and Sales teams to follow up on inbound leads, collaborate on campaigns and help refine messaging. • Meet or exceed assigned metrics/targets (e.g., number of outreach touches, meetings set, qualified leads generated). • Maintain knowledge of product/service offerings, value proposition, industry trends and competitor landscape.
