About the position This position is responsible for ambulatory application(s)/module(s) of Epic, specifically focusing on the Epic Beacon Oncology application. It is designed for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment, requiring the ability to change direction quickly, multitask, and demonstrate a passion and eagerness to learn new technologies. Responsibilities • Collaborate with and provide expert-level support to counterparts from other applications to successfully meet the development and implementation objectives for assigned Epic applications. • Effectively manage competing and changing priorities. • Serve as project lead for key initiatives, including performing project management duties, as assigned. • Develop, document, and adhere to the internal procedures that will be used in conjunction with related applications and systems. • Interact professionally with leadership, faculty, staff, and vendors. • Support the Epic Beacon Oncology application, with a specialized focus on oncology & research protocol configuration, validation, and testing. • Mentor and coach associate and intermediate Beacon analysts. • Actively collaborate with all Epic team(s) and Mays Cancer Center Operations for ongoing software maintenance and optimization. • Lead the strategic execution, oversight, enhancement, implementation, and optimization of all clinical components of Beacon Oncology.
