B2B SaaS Startup – Algorithmic Trading & Prop Firm Infrastructure – Contract to Hire

We are a B2B SaaS company in the algorithmic trading and prop firm space. We develop white-label technology infrastructure that allows other businesses in the sector to operate, manage, and scale without having to build their own systems from scratch. We provide our clients with: Admin dashboard (for the CEO or team) → to manage accounts, clients, metrics, payments, and certifications. End-user dashboard → where their customers can view their trading metrics, results, approval or withdrawal certificates, etc. Automations (emails, alerts, notifications for phase completions, withdrawals, referrals). Everything fully white-labeled, connected to MetaTrader 4/5, and hosted on our managed infrastructure. Who This Platform Is For Algorithmic trading companies / EA or bot vendors They sell trading algorithms that operate on brokers or prop firms. Their current issue: they have paying clients but no professional management system — they rely on spreadsheets and lack centralized dashboards or metrics. With our platform: they get a complete system where they and their clients can see real-time performance, bot statistics, drawdown, PnL, etc., without developing anything in-house. “Pass-Your-Challenge” companies or automated funding services They offer bots that help traders pass funding exams (prop firm challenges). Their current issue: they must manage hundreds of accounts simultaneously and track which clients pass or fail each stage. With our platform: they can automate the entire tracking process, see each client’s stage, generate certificates, and even trigger automatic access to the next phase or withdrawal. In short: the system becomes the back-office and data platform powering any company that manages trading accounts for third parties. ⚙️ What We Are Building To support this, we are building a centralized, scalable infrastructure that can connect hundreds or thousands of MT4/MT5 accounts without relying on costly providers like MetaAPI. The system must read account data (balances, equity, PnL, open/closed orders) in real time using investor-password credentials. Nothing is installed on the client’s VPS — everything runs securely on our managed servers. This will be the core technology powering all dashboards for our clients. Developer Responsibilities Design and build the first version of this centralized infrastructure (Hosted Connector / Node Pool): Manage MT4/MT5 terminal pools running on Windows headless or Linux + Wine. Automatically connect accounts (investor login) and keep sessions alive. Publish account data in real time (via API / WebSocket). Automatically reallocate accounts if a host fails (auto-heal / failover). Develop the collector API and metrics ingestion database (Postgres + Timescale + Redis). Integrate the system with the existing dashboards. Ensure security, reliability, and bolthires optimization (bolthires: €2–3 per account/month infrastructure bolthires). Suggested Stack Language: Python (FastAPI) or Node.js (Nest/Express) Infrastructure: AWS (EC2/ECS/EKS) or Hetzner/OVH (Windows/Linux hosts) Databases: Postgres + Timescale (for time-series) and Redis for caching Queue/Streaming: RabbitMQ or Kafka Orchestration: Docker / Kubernetes or ECS with auto-scaling Monitoring: Prometheus + Grafana Security: credential encryption, API keys, mTLS, auditable logs ⚙️ Requirements 3+ years of experience in backend and DevOps. Experience with distributed systems and real-time data. Experience running MetaTrader 4/5 on servers (ideally with Wine). Solid understanding of API design, queues, databases, and security. Interest or background in fintech/trading systems. Timeline & Deliverables Initial duration: 6–8 weeks (MVP). Deliverables: Node pool capable of hosting and managing 20–50 concurrent accounts.
