The Role: As the AVP (Chief Marketing Officer for our Central Division), you will be responsible for driving overall marketing results and developing strategies that strengthen Providence's brand position. This executive-level position requires a senior-level marketing practitioner who focuses on the consumer/patient to deliver a return on marketing investment. You will lead large multi-disciplinary teams, align them with a vision, and drive them towards successful completion of goals. Your role will involve partnering with marketing, communication, strategy, and digital innovation leaders to coordinate and align marketing strategies across functions. Responsibilities • Advise executive leadership on critical marketing initiatives and provide solutions to complex issues. • Establish strong relationships across the organization to influence strategy development and communicate marketing progress. • Lead the strategic planning and execution of system marketing efforts, including annual planning, priority setting, and budget alignment. • Drive competitive strategy to ensure growth in volume, revenue, and return on marketing investment. • Oversee competitive environment analysis and communicate findings to leadership for strategic recommendations. • Implement brand strategy, manage identity standards, and provide brand consultation in business discussions. • Build, manage, and coach a high-performing marketing team. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field or equivalent education/experience. • Master's degree preferred. • 10+ years in senior management leading successful marketing teams. • Healthcare marketing experience preferred. • Strong verbal communication, collaboration, and team-building skills. • Ability to build relationships and resolve problems. • Ability to elicit, analyze, and communicate business requirements from diverse functions. • Working knowledge of brand principles and identity management. • Confident, driven, and dynamic leader with an entrepreneurial mindset.
