We are seeking an experienced Audit & Assurance Manager / Senior Manager to oversee and execute audit, review, and compliance engagements for a diverse client base. Reporting directly to the Audit Partner, this role is responsible for the delivery of high-quality, timely engagements, cultivates strong client relationships, and leads the supervision and professional development of audit team members. Key Responsibilities • Develop an understanding of the client’s business • Coordinate, organize, and schedule engagements to ensure all deadlines are met • Prepare audit strategies and assess audit risks • Manage multiple audit or review engagements • Review financial statements and related disclosures to ensure compliance with reporting requirements • Review engagement work papers • Research accounting issues and provide solutions • Identify and communicate accounting and auditing matters to Partner • Properly plan and manage engagements to ensure completion • Become an expert within assigned niches • Assist in special projects • Assist with peer review planning and compliance • Recognize opportunities to provide additional services to existing clients • Manage and monitor client deliverables and due dates • Lead department in knowledge of software, processes, and workflows • Minimal travel requirements Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; Master’s degree preferred • Active CPA license or CPA eligible preferred • 7 - 10+ years of audit experience in public accounting • Strong technical, analytical, and risk assessment skills • Proven leadership and team management abilities • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software • High ethical standards and professionalism Why Join Us? • Impactful, client-facing role with broad industry exposure • Supportive team environment focused on growth and development • Opportunity to build lasting client relationships and drive business success Work/Life Balance Employee Benefits At SBDP, we show our appreciation for our hardworking employees by offering a comprehensive work-life employee benefits package.
