Associate Underwriter

The Associate Underwriter will perform basic underwriting functions under approved guidelines for small to mid-size businesses, learning underwriting concepts to make sound risk and financial decisions on Delta's commercial book of business. Responsibilities Performs comprehensive client-specific experience analysis to provide appropriate rates based on risk assessment and evaluation of smaller or less complex cases Works with fellow underwriting team members through underwriting peer review process Advises and provides guidance to sales and other internal customers on the underwriting rationale Skills 0+ with Bachelor's degree Candidates with proven related experience may be considered for this position.
