Associate Site Reliability Specialist

The Site Reliability Associate (SRA) role focuses on maintaining reliable and scalable software systems, ensuring smooth application operations and excellent user experience. Responsibilities Monitor system performance and availability, and take actions to rectify issues identified Respond promptly to incidents following predefined plans and procedures. It includes batch jobs, message queues, system integration components and end user reported incidents Analyze root causes of incidents following incident response plans Prevent future occurrences of incidents by fixing root causes and recovering damaged data Build effective monitor and alerts to discover errors Using development tools to analyze root causes of problems Develop tools that monitor the Eco system and enable self-diagnosis Adopt best practices, and continuously improve systems and processes to enhance reliability and performance Collaborate with teams like Policy Fulfilment and business stakeholders to determine feasibility and troubleshoot issues Work with external teams (e.g., DCM, Kyndryl) to integrate and optimize document services, providing assistance when needed Skills Diploma or degree in Information Technology or Computer Science with at least 1 year of experience in application support including development and operation Knowledge in software engineering, with proficiency in one or more programming languages Knowledge in system administration and managing production environments Proficiency in using monitoring and logging tools to track system performance and discover errors Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Knowledge with containerization technologies like Docker Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams effectively Knowledge of cloud computing platforms and infrastructure-as-code tools as an asset Benefits Training and development opportunities to grow your career.
