Associate Energy Efficiency Consultant (Hybrid)
About the position Eversource is seeking an entry-level professional to join their energy efficiency team, focusing on supporting energy efficiency initiatives for electric and natural gas customers. This hybrid role involves assisting subject matter experts in project management services aimed at reducing energy consumption through advanced technologies, while ensuring customer operations remain unaffected. Responsibilities • Provide project assistance services and support to customers regarding energy efficiency projects. • Review prescriptive applications for supporting documentation. • Research customer energy efficiency and participation data. • Prepare and maintain analysis spreadsheets and project documentation for energy efficiency measures. • Research energy efficiency technologies and provide project ideation. • Assist in post-installation administration of engineering approval and incentive payment processing. • Coordinate the implementation of Energy Efficiency programs and related initiatives. • Assist in daily transactional activities between customers, program administrators, advisory consultants, and vendors/contractors. • Assist in invoicing and tracking of expenses and energy savings. • Prepare RFPs for contracted services and assist in other activities as advised by management. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Business, Energy, Sustainability, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience. • One (1) plus years of relevant experience in technical marketing, sales, project management, or energy efficiency. • Basic understanding of financial principles and proficiency in PC desktop applications (e.g., Microsoft Word and Excel). • Ability to assist with and learn about energy efficiency and renewable technologies. Nice-to-haves • Experience with high-efficiency lighting, HVAC systems, efficient building design, advanced electric motor drives, heat recovery systems, and manufacturing processes. • Minimal experience and/or aptitude in customer service.
