Job Title: Associate Consultant – Healthcare Consulting & ImplementationLocation: Chicago IL/Alpharetta GATravel Requirement: Occasional TravelThe OpportunityWe are seeking a consultant to join our growing Healthcare Consulting & Implementation team. In this client-facing role, you will support and help deliver audits, assessments, and advisory engagements across a diverse set of healthcare and regulatory frameworks. You’ll work closely with our clients to assess risk, evaluate documentation, and support compliance efforts involving HITRUST, HIPAA, NIST 800-53, ISO 27001, CMS, and privacy regulations.This is a remote position with occasional travel and offers company-sponsored certification programs to support your continued professional development.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the delivery of audits, assessments, and advisory services for healthcare and regulated clientsAssist in evaluating security and privacy controls, performing risk assessments, reviewing documentation, and identifying compliance gapsLearn and apply leading frameworks and regulations such as HITRUST, HIPAA, ISO 27001, NIST 800-53, CMS, and privacy standardsContribute to the development of high-quality deliverables, including findings reports, remediation plans, and client-facing presentationsCollaborate with senior consultants and project leads to ensure the successful execution of client engagementsBuild and maintain trusted client relationships, representing NCC Group with professionalism and careWhat We're Looking ForExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalStrong interest in cybersecurity, privacy, and complianceEagerness to learn and pursue relevant industry certifications (e.g., HITRUST CCSFP, ISO 27001) paid for by NCC GroupHigh attention to detail and strong organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a remote work environmentWillingness to travel occasionally for client engagementsQualifications That Stand OutBachelor’s degree or higher in cybersecurity, information systems, health information management, or a related fieldInternship or entry-level experience in IT auditing, privacy, compliance, or risk managementFamiliarity with security or privacy standards such as HITRUST CSF, HIPAA, NIST, ISO 27001, or CMSExperience working in or supporting the healthcare sectorBehaviours:Focusing on Clients and Customers.Working as one NCC.Always Learning.Being Inclusive and respectful.Delivering brilliantly.Why NCC Group?At NCC Group, our mission is to create a more secure digital future.
