As a key member of our Asset Protection team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety of our employees, customers, and assets while promoting a culture of low risk and shortage reduction. The Role As an Asset Protection Service Representative - SOHO, you will be responsible for providing a high level of visible, overt presence to prevent loss and safety issues in our stores. You will work closely with store leaders, Asset Protection personnel, and external partners to drive a low-risk culture and contribute to shortage reduction efforts. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the safety of all store employees and customers while promoting a culture of customer service and brand excellence. Key Responsibilities: Visible Presence: Provide a high level of visible, overt presence to prevent loss and safety issues on the sales floor. Customer Service: Greet customers and provide excellent service while maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction. Physical Security: Maintain the physical security of the store, including monitoring CCTV cameras and alarms. Escalation Support: Assist leadership in the proper handling of escalated customer situations and support Asset Protection Coordinators during external shoplifting apprehensions. Intelligence Gathering: Collect and communicate loss and safety-related intelligence to stores and Asset Protection leaders. Awareness and Training: Create and maintain awareness by promoting available resources to business partners, including the Open Door Policy, Code of Business Conduct Hotline, Brand Protection Program, and safety trainings. Store Safety Standards: Promote and support awareness of store safety standards, including security and safety procedures, Code Adam, active threat, emergency procedures, downtime boxes, and equipment. Requirements and Qualifications Essential Qualifications: Experience: 1-2 years of experience in customer service, loss prevention, or a related field. Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to negotiate and build consensus across multiple stakeholders and functions. Multitasking: Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Learning Agility: Ability to actively learn and immediately apply learnings into decisions and behaviors. Preferred Qualifications: Retail Experience: Experience working in a retail environment, preferably in a loss prevention or asset protection role. Security Training: Completion of security training programs, such as loss prevention or asset protection certifications. Leadership Experience: Experience in a leadership or supervisory role, preferably in a retail or customer service environment.
