About the position Responsibilities • Manage, mentor, and grow team of business intelligence analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and analytical excellence. • Set clear goals, provide regular feedback, and champion professional development in service of driving business impact. • Lead the design and execution of a comprehensive analytics roadmap that aligns with company goals and supports revenue growth and operational efficiency. • Identify key business questions and prioritize initiatives that maximize impact across sales, marketing, product, and operations. • Oversee strategic analytics projects from scope definition to delivery, ensuring alignment with stakeholder objectives, timelines, and measurable outcomes. • Conduct analyses to identify key performance drivers, diagnose trends, and surface actionable insights. • Deliver compelling data visualizations, reports, and executive presentations that clearly communicate findings and recommendations. • Continuously enhance reporting processes and visualization frameworks to improve storytelling, accessibility, and business decision-making. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative, business, or related discipline (e.g., Statistics, Economics, Business Administration, Marketing Analytics, Finance). • 5+ years of experience in analytics, data strategy, or business intelligence, including 2+ years in a leadership role managing analysts or BI professionals. • Proven ability to interpret industry performance metrics and economic indicators, including demographics, revenue management, and competitive benchmarking data. • Advanced proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation. • Expertise in data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI. • Advanced Excel modeling and quantitative analysis skills. • Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R • Understanding of statistical modeling, data architecture, and best practices for handling large or complex datasets. • Analytical Thinking: Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations. • Strategic Mindset: Connects analytics initiatives to organizational goals and revenue outcomes. • Communication & Storytelling: Skilled in presenting complex analyses in a clear, compelling, and influential manner. • Collaboration: Builds strong partnerships across functions and manages stakeholder expectations effectively. • Adaptability: Thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with shifting priorities. • Attention to Detail: Ensures accuracy, consistency, and integrity in all analytical outputs Nice-to-haves • Experience in hospitality, travel, or service industries strongly preferred.
