Connor, Clark & Lunn Financial Group Ltd. is one of Canada’s top performing asset managers seeking an Analyst or Senior Analyst for their Performance and Attribution Solutions Team. The role involves delivering post-trade analytics, collaborating with stakeholders, and enhancing investment processes through value-add analytics. Responsibilities Investment performance calculations, attribution analysis, analytics and portfolio risk reporting across public / private asset classes Support sales and marketing requests and provide data for RFPs and DDQs Research, propose, and maintain performance measurement and attribution methodologies for existing and new products Develop and manage relationships with both internal and external stakeholders Provide analytical problem solving and troubleshooting Identify process improvements and leverage best practices across the team Understand new products and ensure proper reporting is in place Skills Critical Thinking – approach problems with a curious and critical mindset Excellent Communicator – Both verbal and written. Ability to express ideas, explain analytics/ methodologies and lead solution-oriented discussions with a wide range of audiences Collaborative – You have a collaborative spirit that helps you to work well with others and you communicate effectively Self-Motivated – The ideal candidate has a passion for advancing the quality, scale and efficiency of data processes and is able to take ownership of multiple processes with keen attention to detail Continuous Process Improvement Mindset – You constantly take a critical eye to processes with the goal of finding improvement opportunities and bring an ability to manage multiple projects Problem Solver – You possess an analytical mindset and can detect patterns to solve problems Technology Savvy– You are able to pick up new Systems and tools quickly. You have advanced computer skills with an emphasis on MS Excel, Power Bi and have a desire to learn basic database query languages Education – You have an Undergraduate degree in business, mathematics or a related field. You are also enrolled (or considering enrollment) in the CFA or CIPM program Industry Knowledge – 1 to 5+ years' experience in the investment management industry or comparable.
