Analyst II, Finance
First National Bank of Omaha is looking for an Analyst II, Finance who will be responsible for accounting, financial reporting, and analysis of assigned business units. This role involves preparing and reviewing operating budgets, forecasts, and monthly financials while partnering with business unit managers and the finance team. Responsibilities Develop and maintain competency within the bank’s financial systems to facilitate segment and business unit specific reporting and analysis Demonstrates a proven track record in retrieving data from multiple sources and able to effectively utilize/analyze this data and display it in a meaningful way to management Develop, prepare, and improve financial reporting to assist in the ongoing management and evaluation of the business Ensure accurate and timely completion of monthly reporting, supporting processes and variance analysis Perform processes and reporting that include vendor payments, T&E processing, GL account reconciliation, and journal entries Work with business unit managers for analysis of business and business products, preparation of forecasts and budgets Demonstrates adaptability in adjusting analysis, reporting, and forecasting to accommodate the changing business dynamics/products Demonstrates ability to work with cross-functional teams to complete tasks and improve efficiencies Continuously identify opportunities for increased efficiency/accuracy Identify other areas to leverage information Skills Bachelor's degree, preferably in Finance, or equivalent experience 1–3 years of financial analyst experience 1–3 years budget/forecasting experience Ability to work in large and medium sized project teams, as self-directed contributor with a proven track record of being detail orientated, innovative, creative, and strategic Exhibit professional behavior and promote positive working relationships. Maintain regular and predictable attendance in alignment with departmental/divisional policy Compliance: Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, regulations, and the bank's BSA/AML Program, as applicable to your job duties.
