ANALYST I
The California Department of Developmental Services is an agency providing services to individuals with developmental disabilities. The Analyst I will support the Autism Services Branch by providing analytical, programmatic, administrative, and technical assistance, while also responding to inquiries and managing communications with various stakeholders. Responsibilities Provide a wide variety of analytical, programmatic, administrative, and technical support for the Autism Services Branch (ASB) in the Statewide Clinical Services Division (SCSD) Process incoming inquiries and respond to requests for technical assistance Support communications with individuals and families, regional centers, service providers, community-based organizations, and hospitals Listen and respond to concerns and questions, explain rights and responsibilities, and provide information and resources about autism, regional centers, and services Provide specialized administrative tasks, including time keeping, creating, editing, printing, and disseminating technical correspondence and materials Work collaboratively with members of ASB on various projects as indicated in support of Department objectives Skills Must be a resident of the State of California at the time of appointment Requires lawful authorization to work in the United States Must submit a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) typed in 12-point Arial font, single spaced, and be no more than two pages in length If using list eligibility from an on-line exam, must include documentation to verify meeting the Minimum Qualifications Must submit a current version of the State Examination/Employment Application STD Form 678 or the Electronic State Employment Application Possession of Minimum Qualifications will be verified prior to interview and/or appointment If meeting Minimum Qualifications with education, must include unofficial transcripts/diploma for verification All appointments are subject to State Restriction of Appointment (SROA), Departmental Restriction of Appointment (DROA), Re-employment List procedures, pre-employment physical and fingerprint clearances Knowledge of supports and accommodations related to ASD and other disabilities and the Lanterman Act Applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Adobe and virtual meeting products Customer service and communication skills Benefits Excellent medical, dental and vision insurance benefits Retirement benefits Company Overview California Department of Developmental Services is into the development of differently-abled people to make choices & live productive lives.
