AI Automation Specialist

Remote Full-time
The AI Automation Specialist at Vinnie Mac Restoration Marketing will be responsible for designing, building, and implementing AI-powered automation solutions that streamline operations and enhance service delivery for restoration contractor clients. You'll leverage cutting-edge AI systems, large language models (LLMs), and automation platforms to create intelligent workflows that improve efficiency, reduce manual tasks, and scale the agency's capabilities. This role is perfect for someone who understands both the technical aspects of AI automation and how to apply these solutions to real-world business challenges in the digital marketing space. As our AI Automation Specialist, you'll work across all departments—from PPC and SEO to client success and content—identifying opportunities for automation, building custom solutions, and training team members on new AI-powered tools and workflows. Key responsibilities include designing and building custom AI automation workflows using platforms such as Zapier, N8N, and HighLevel; integrating LLMs into business processes to enhance content creation, client communication, and data analysis; creating intelligent chatbots and automated response systems for client lead capture and qualification; developing automated reporting systems that pull data from multiple sources and generate client-ready insights; building AI-powered content generation workflows for SEO, PPC ad copy, social media, and client communications; and implementing automated quality assurance checks for deliverables across all departments. You will identify manual, repetitive tasks across the agency that can be automated or enhanced with AI; audit existing workflows and recommend AI-powered improvements to increase team productivity; create automated data pipelines that connect marketing tools such as Google Ads, Analytics, SEO platforms, and CRM systems; develop automated lead qualification and routing systems for restoration contractor clients; and build AI-assisted tools that help the team work faster and more accurately. Integration and systems responsibilities include integrating AI automation solutions with existing tools and platforms (WordPress, ClickUp, Google Workspace, and marketing platforms); maintaining and optimizing existing automation workflows and troubleshooting issues; staying current with emerging AI technologies and automation platforms and recommending new tools and approaches; ensuring data security and privacy compliance in all automation implementations; and documenting automation workflows and creating training materials for team members. You will work closely with department leads to understand their workflows and identify automation opportunities, train team members on using AI tools and automated workflows effectively, provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for AI automation systems, present automation solutions and their impact to leadership and stakeholders, and collaborate with the web development and technical teams on more complex integrations. In terms of innovation and strategy, you will research and test new AI tools and automation platforms that could benefit the agency or clients; develop AI-powered solutions that can be offered as services to restoration contractor clients; create proof-of-concept automations to demonstrate potential value before full implementation; monitor AI automation performance and ROI and make data-driven recommendations for improvements; and stay ahead of industry trends in AI, automation, and marketing technology. The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of experience building and implementing automation workflows using platforms like Zapier, N8N, Make (Integromat), or similar tools; hands-on experience working with AI systems and LLMs such as ChatGPT, Claude, custom GPT implementations, and API integrations; experience with HighLevel (GoHighLevel) or similar CRM/marketing automation platforms; and a strong understanding of APIs, webhooks, and how to connect different software systems. Experience with no-code/low-code automation platforms, basic coding knowledge (Python, JavaScript, or similar), and understanding of data structures, logic flows, and conditional automation is a plus. You should understand digital marketing concepts including SEO, PPC, content marketing, and lead generation; experience in marketing agencies or with marketing automation is strongly preferred; and familiarity with common marketing tools such as Google Ads, Analytics, WordPress, and CRM systems is valuable. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, the ability to translate business needs into technical automation solutions, excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical team members, creative thinking to identify unique automation opportunities, and a detail-oriented testing and quality assurance mindset are essential. You are a self-starter who can identify opportunities and take initiative without constant direction, comfortable working independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams, adaptable to a rapidly changing AI and automation landscape, passionate about efficiency and optimization, and eager to learn and experiment with new tools and technologies. We offer 2 weeks PTO plus paid US holidays, 100% remote work with flexible schedule within core hours, 401K with 4% matching, direct access to leadership and a supportive team environment, professional development opportunities, and a positive work culture committed to helping employees grow within their roles without burning out. Our core values include being positive team players, maintaining integrity and accountability, staying results-focused, always being resourceful, and remaining humbly confident. Apply tot his job
