AI Automation Engineer - Middle
Overview: SOFTSWISS continues to expand the team and is looking for a Middle AI Automation Engineer. We need a true, experienced and accomplished professional who shares our culture and values. Purpose of the role: You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining AI-powered automation solutions that replicate and streamline complex back-office tasks across internal systems and third-party platforms, driving efficiency, scalability, and innovation within the company. Key responsibilities: Design, build, and deploy automation bots and workflows to replicate back-office tasks Integrate AI bots with internal backend systems, Jira, Customer.io, Intercom, and other tools via APIs Develop browser-based automations that open browser windows, interact with site elements, and replicate human actions Collaborate with AI teams to combine multiple AI models and services into cohesive automation solutions Stay updated on AI trends, tools, and frameworks to develop innovative in-house AI-driven automation Troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain existing automation scripts and bot frameworks Document automation processes and ensure robust error handling and monitoring Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand task workflows and translate them into automated solutions Required Experience: 3 years of experience Strong proficiency in JavaScript and/or Node.js for developing automation scripts and APIs Experience with API integrations and automation platforms Familiarity with AI technologies, natural language processing, and bot frameworks Knowledge of common back-office tools such as Jira, Customer.io, and Intercom is a strong plus Ability to architect scalable automation solutions that integrate multiple AI services and backend systems Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Passion for AI trends, emerging technologies, and automation best practices Nice to have: Experience with conversational AI or chatbot development Experience creating browser-based automations, including opening browser windows, interacting with site elements, and replicating human actions (e.g., using Puppeteer, Playwright, or Selenium) Exposure to cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure) and serverless architectures Understanding of data privacy and security considerations in automation Our Benefits: Full-time remote work opportunities and flexible working hours Private insurance Additional 1 Day Off per calendar year Sports program compensation Comprehensive Mental Health Programme Free online English lessons with a native speaker Generous referral program Training, internal workshops, and participation in international professional conferences and corporate events Originally posted on Himalayas
