Position Summary The Program Manager/Scrum Master leads a multi‑initiative portfolio that strengthens Aetna Technology’s security posture and regulatory compliance. Partnering with domain leads and cross‑functional engineering teams, this role drives end‑to‑end program delivery—from planning and prioritization through execution and transparent progress monitoring—across key workstreams such as vulnerability management, identity & access, secrets management and certificate hygiene, cloud/SaaS posture remediation, and audit readiness. Operating in Aetna Technology’s product model, the Program Manager orchestrates dependencies, embeds initiatives into team backlogs, and ensures clear ownership, commitments, and risk/issue management (including remediation plans in Archer where needed). The role produces consumable dashboards and leadership updates, supports internal/external audits, and maintains governance cadences with the stakeholders to deliver measurable improvements in resilience, compliance, and operational excellence. Required Qualifications • 5 to 10+ years of project management experience, with a focus on Security and Compliance • Proven experience managing large-scale projects with cross-functional teams. • Strong leadership and team management skills. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Proficient in project management software (Jira, Microsoft Project, Clarity). • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Preferred Qualifications • Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification. • Agile or Scrum certifications. Education • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field. • Master’s degree is a plus. Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $130,295.00 - $260,590.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
