The Admissions Advisor II plays a crucial role in meeting enrollment objectives by effectively promoting UMA’s mission and benefits to prospective students through various communication methods. Responsibilities Participate in on and off-campus events, including evenings and weekends, to generate interest from prospective students Develop and leverage relationships with community partners to establish brand recognition and training referrals Maintain communication with students to encourage referrals and promote continuing their educational journey Host monthly on-campus activities to generate student referrals and foster community relationships Answer inbound contacts from various sources and complete outbound calls to maintain relationships with prospective and enrolled students Determine prospective students' eligibility to attend UMA and set appointments for campus tours Follow up with prospective students in a timely and compliant manner according to best practices Record all interactions and efforts to reach prospective students into the student database according to established organizational processes Conduct interviews with prospective students to gauge their level of interest, desired area of study, and availability for attending school Conduct campus tours and facilitate program director or instructor meet-and-greets and financial aid overviews Evaluate prospective students based on their needs, interests, qualifications, and motivations, and complete all required paperwork and data entry accurately and timely Coordinate with Enrollment Coordinators, Registrar, and others to ensure enrollment paperwork is processed accurately and maintain communication with students prior to start dates and throughout their first two weeks to ensure persistence and success Provide information and troubleshooting for peers in Admission Advisor I position as requested Perform other duties as assigned Skills High school diploma or equivalent Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with prospective students and community partners Strong ability to develop and maintain relationships with community partners, prospective students, and their influencers Ability to manage multiple tasks, maintain accurate records, and ensure timely follow-up with prospective and enrolled students Proficiency in promoting the institution's mission and benefits to generate interest High level of service skills to support prospective students throughout the enrollment process and ensure a positive experience Ability to communicate proficiently in professional verbal and written English Ability to contribute to a diverse and inclusive work environment Computer literacy/basic computer skills to effectively navigate and utilize the technology required for the role Associate's degree or equivalent experience One or more years of experience in recruiting or admissions Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other business tools such as Microsoft Teams Benefits Medical (including prescription), Dental, Vision (UMA subsidized) FSA/HSA (Depending on Medical Plan chosen) Basic Life Insurance (UMA paid) Additional Voluntary Life Insurance (Team Member paid) Employee Assistance Program – EAP (UMA paid) Long Term Disability (UMA paid) Short Term Disability (Team Member paid) Supplemental Insurance such as Critical Illness, Accident, and Hospital (Team Member Paid) Paid Time Off – 15 days accrued in year 1, 9 holidays, and 1 day of Volunteering Time Off 401k (eligible upon completion of 90 days of employment and must be at least 21 years of age) Pet Insurance Identity Theft Protection Company Overview Career-focused allied health school built on care.
